Back in May, @recklessdarkness commissioned me to do a cover piece for her wonderful fic based on Phasma by Delilah S. Dawson. The fic is raw and emotional and makes a ton of sense for Phasma’s character. Amazing how a little backstory can make a villain so sympathetic. <3
The story revolves around Hux’s father, Brendol Hux. So of course I used Domhnall Gleeson’s actual father, Brendan, as a model ;) (Has anyone noticed the similarity in names, btw?? Brendol? Brendan? I’m not sure it’s a coincidence…)
Reckless, thank you so much for your patience as I worked on this piece. I hope the results are worth the wait!
It was ironic how it made sense to her when she was a kid, but not in the last time she’d sung that song. It actually felt like a slap in her face in that last moment, since the wound she was getting was everything but small, and she no longer had a mother – or anyone¬ – to tell about that.
